Traveling to Thailand
International flights to Thailand are available at several airports, including Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK), Don Mueang Airport (DMK), Phuket International Airport (HKT), Chiang Mai International Airport (CNX), and on our neighboring island, Koh Samui International Airport (USM).
Getting to Koh Tao
There are many ways to get to Koh Tao after arriving in the country. The quickest way after landing at BKK (Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport) is to fly directly to USM (Koh Samui International Airport.) From USM, take the Lompraya Catamaran Ferry over to Koh Tao.
If you prefer a less expensive way to travel domestically, we recommend to take the Lompraya transfer from Khao San Road to Koh Tao. This route will deliver you to Chumpohn, our closest mainland port. From there you will board a Catameran ferry over to the island.
There are many other ways to get to Koh Tao. A lot of travelers prefer to use 12Go.asia to book transfers, trains, busses and ferries.
