The RAID Master Rescue Diver course will instill in you the ability and confidence to prevent and respond to diving related emergencies. The course focuses on risk management and incident prevention, rescue response and problem solving skills, dive planning and buoyancy control. It also trains divers how to respond effectively should an accident occur while diving.
This 3-day course is often cited by divers as the most fun course in their diving career while also giving them the most confidence in the water.

Step 2 - Theory & Workshops
On arrival, you will meet your instructor who will review your pre-completed e-learning with you.
Your instructor will conduct workshops on equipment, self-rescue, emergency procedures, physiology and safe diving practices to help you get the most out of your learning experience.
Step 3 - Pool
Your pool training will begin with simulations to improve your self-rescue skills in a safe environment. You will then be introduced to increasingly challenging scenarios involving problem solving, handling distressed and injured divers, and rescuing unconscious divers safely.
Step 4 - Open Water Dives
The Master Rescue course consists of 4 open water dives conducted over 2 days. The dives will repeat much of what has been learned in the pool training as well as introduce you to open water search patterns. On the last 2 dives of the course, we will bring in a few professional divers in training to act as role-playing assistants. The dives will consist of running scenarios involving divers having equipment problems, missing and injured divers, and unconscious divers needing your help.
